AMD May Launch the 6-Core Ryzen 5 7500 Processor With Integrated Graphics
AMD is reportedly developing a new processor for the Ryzen 7000 family. The model, which will be called Ryzen 5 7500, will come with integrated graphics. Its other specifications will be the same as those of the Ryzen 5 7500F currently on sale. It is not yet known when the processor will be unveiled or in which countries it will go on sale.
The Ryzen 5 7500 will have 6 cores based on the Zen 4 architecture and 12 processing threads, allowing it to perform more tasks simultaneously. The processor will operate at a base frequency of 3.7 GHz and a maximum frequency of 5.0 GHz. Total cache will be 38 MB, comprising 32 MB of L3 cache and 6 MB of L2 cache. Power consumption will be 65 W. The model will be compatible with motherboards using the AM5 socket. However, it will not have the 3D V-Cache memory that improves gaming performance. The absence of the letter F in the model's name indicates that integrated graphics will be included. The graphics component is expected to consist of 2 small RDNA 2 compute units, as in the Ryzen 5 7600. This capability is sufficient for connecting a monitor, watching videos and using everyday applications. However, modern games will not run comfortably without a discrete graphics card.
A price of 230 euros (approximately 450 manat), or 267 dollars (approximately 450 manat), is listed for the Ryzen 5 7500. This is more than 2 times the current price of 105 euros (approximately 210 manat) for the Ryzen 5 7500F in Germany. The Ryzen 5 7500F was introduced 3 years ago for 179 dollars (approximately 300 manat). That model can currently be found for 116 dollars (approximately 200 manat). The main difference in the new version is the presence of integrated graphics. The high price may be because the processor will be sold in a retail box with a cooler, as the Ryzen 5 7500F is mainly offered without a box or cooler. Nevertheless, with a budget slightly above 250 dollars (approximately 430 manat), it is possible to buy the more powerful Ryzen 5 9600X processor and a B850 motherboard. The Ryzen 5 7600X3D can currently be found for less than 250 dollars. Because the price and sales plan have not been officially confirmed, this information may change.
