Apple Begins Selling Repair Parts for iPhone 18 Pro and Macs

    Apple has begun selling repair parts for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Mac Studio models with M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips, as well as Mac mini models with M6 and M5 Pro chips, are also included in the list. In regions where the program operates, users can purchase parts, repair tools and other materials from the Self Service Repair Store.    For the iPhone 18 Pro series, the rear glass, battery, lower and upper speakers, display, enclosure, and front and rear cameras are available. The logic board, main microphone, SIM card tray and Taptic Engine vibration mechanism are also on the list. The store separately lists and sells the adhesive cutter, suction handle, nylon tool, adhesive remover, torque wrench and screws needed for each repair.    The camera with a variable aperture system is priced at $249 (approximately 420 manats). This price is the same as for last year’s models. When the old camera is returned, a credit of $59.76 (approximately 100 manats) is provided, reducing the final cost to $189.24 (approximately 320 manats). A new display costs $329 (approximately 560 manats) for the iPhone 18 Pro and $379 (approximately 640 manats) for the iPhone 18 Pro Max. When the old display is returned, a credit of $16.45 (approximately 28 manats) is provided for the iPhone 18 Pro. For the iPhone 18 Pro Max display, this amount is $18.95 (approximately 32 manats).    The battery costs $129 (approximately 220 manats) for both models. Buyers who return the old battery receive a credit of $61.92 (approximately 110 manats). This reduces the final cost to $67.08 (approximately 110 manats). However, the iPhone 18 Pro Max battery is not yet available for purchase and is listed in the store as a part that will be available soon.    The rear glass costs $159 (approximately 270 manats) for both models. When the old part is returned, the final amount drops to $120.84 (approximately 210 manats). The front camera costs $199 (approximately 340 manats), and the cost after returning the old part is $151.24 (approximately 260 manats). A repair tool kit can also be rented for 7 days for $49 (approximately 83 manats).    A wide selection of parts is available for the Mac Studio, ranging from Thunderbolt and USB-C ports to the fan, speaker, SSD storage module, logic board and power supply. The list for the Mac mini is shorter: the fan, speaker, logic board, battery and power supply are available. Apple launched the Self Service Repair program in 2022. Under the program, owners of eligible devices can purchase parts and tools or rent the tools. The company’s official repair manuals also include step-by-step instructions for every replaceable part.
