Apple to Open Pre-Order Preparation for Foldable iPhone Duo on October 12
“Apple” will open the pre-order preparation stage for its first foldable phone, the “iPhone Duo,” on October 12. Pre-orders will begin on October 16 at 16:00. Users will be able to save their choices 4 days in advance and complete their orders more quickly.
Preparation will be available through the “Apple Store” app and online store. Buyers will be able to select the phone’s color, storage capacity, mobile carrier and payment method in advance. Options related to trading in an old device for a new one, financing the purchase and the “AppleCare” service can also be selected in advance. Some options are already visible on the pre-order page, but the “Continue” button does not work yet. Starting October 12, users will be able to save their information and then complete the purchase with 1 tap when orders open. According to “Apple,” this preparation will speed up the payment process.
For those who pre-order, the “iPhone Duo” will be shipped to buyers on October 23. Although rumors have circulated that the phone will be available in limited quantities during the first days of sales, “Apple” has not confirmed this. Saving selections in advance may reduce delays during ordering, but it does not guarantee that a buyer will get the phone.
