GTA 6 Map and Gameplay Footage Leaked

In recent days, numerous new images and videos related to GTA 6 have circulated online. An individual or group known as Cyberleek is reportedly behind the leaks. The shared videos show the game’s map, vehicles, various locations, and gameplay mechanics. Notably, Take-Two Interactive, the owner of GTA series creator Rockstar Games, has begun taking legal action to identify the source of the leaks. On August 20, the company petitioned the court to obtain information from Microsoft and Discord, and later from Google and X Corp, that could help identify Cyberleek. The fact that the documents refer to the released materials as “stolen content” has strengthened the possibility that at least some of the footage is real. However, it is currently impossible to independently verify the authenticity of the videos being circulated. In particular, the widespread distribution of fake GTA 6 videos created using artificial intelligence on social media makes it difficult to distinguish real footage from fake footage.    Among the materials allegedly released by Cyberleek, various parts of the game’s map stand out. The footage shows the names of areas such as Dalton Island, Tequesta Retreat, Gloriana Key, and Catalan Key. In addition, a separate image purportedly showing the entire GTA 6 map has also been shared. In one of the videos, one of the main characters, Jason Duval, plays basketball. Other footage shows Jason driving a car, fighting NPCs, using a stun gun, and becoming involved in various crimes.    One interesting detail is the possible presence of a drug called Zombix in the game. According to the information window shown in the footage, this item can restore the character’s health, but its effect gradually weakens if it is used too often. In one of the most notable videos, Jason flies over Vice City in an airplane. At the end of the video, the player uses bullets to write the word “LEEK” on a wall. This detail has increased speculation that Cyberleek may have access not only to prerecorded videos but also to a playable version of GTA 6. Cyberleek has so far refrained from sharing major spoilers that reveal the game’s main storyline. Nevertheless, it appears that the leaks may continue. Cyberleek conducts polls on its website about which material should be released next and allows users to vote by paying with cryptocurrency.
