Mivi to Unveil Its First Smartphone, the One 5G, on September 24

    Indian consumer electronics brand “Mivi” will unveil its first smartphone, the “Mivi One 5G,” in India on September 24. This will mark the company’s entry into the domestic smartphone market. The device’s full specifications have not yet been disclosed. However, “Mivi” has shared the phone’s design and some details about its processor.    The “Mivi One 5G” has a flat rear panel. The back features a vertical camera module and 2 cameras whose resolutions are not yet known. The flash is located to the right of the camera module. The small hole at the top of the phone is believed to be intended for an additional microphone.    According to “Mivi,” the “Mivi One 5G” will be the only smartphone in its price range powered by a “Snapdragon” chip. The company has not yet revealed the processor’s exact name or the phone’s price. However, several listings in the “Geekbench” benchmark database show the code SM4450. This code refers to the “Snapdragon 4 Gen 2” processor.    According to “Geekbench” data, the smartphone will ship with the “Android 16” operating system. The device is expected to have 4 GB, 6 GB, and 8 GB RAM variants. “Mivi” plans to establish all the capabilities required to design and manufacture smartphones in-house in India. The company presents the “Mivi One 5G” as the first step in its plan to create a global consumer technology brand.
