OpenAI Unveils GPT-6 With New Interactive Intelligent UI

OpenAI has introduced Intelligent UI for ChatGPT—a new GPT-6 mode that transforms the familiar text assistant into a dynamic, interactive environment. The technology’s main feature is that the neural network is no longer limited to ordinary text or code. It independently analyzes the context of a request and instantly generates the interfaces best suited to solving a specific task. If a user needs to compare several parameters, the system will automatically create a concise comparison table. When explaining complex technical or scientific topics, ChatGPT creates interactive diagrams, and for practical calculations, it provides ready-made mini-tools.

During official demonstrations, OpenAI showed the new mode’s remarkable flexibility: the chatbot created detailed anatomical and structural diagrams with clickable elements, full-featured expense calculators with sliders for changing parameters in real time, and even custom digital maps where individual objects could be selected. The user is no longer just a reader but becomes an active participant in the interaction, able to change the input data directly within the response.

To ensure that such complex interfaces work instantly, the developers created their own library of native components and a unique streaming compiler. As a result, the interface does not wait for the code to be fully generated on the server. Instead, it appears on the screen gradually, rendering in real time as the model generates its response. Importantly, Intelligent UI does not overwhelm users with unnecessary elements: if a request is simple and ordinary text is sufficient for the answer, ChatGPT will continue communicating in its familiar text format.

GPT-6 with Intelligent UI is already available to Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise subscribers. Today, October 8, the update began rolling out to users with Free accounts and basic Go plans. OpenAI has maintained a clear technological distinction: premium users get access to Intelligent UI features powered by the flagship and most powerful GPT-6 Sol model, while interfaces on free and lightweight plans are generated by the faster, optimized GPT-6 Luna model.

The company notes that the update effectively erases the line between text-based generative AI and full-fledged web development on the fly, ushering in a new era of multimodal interaction between humans and artificial intelligence.
