Samsung Launches Galaxy A07s Smartphone With 6 Years of Updates
Samsung has launched the budget Galaxy A07s smartphone without a major announcement. The device is currently available in the Levant region, specifically in Jordan. The model appeared in the Google Play Console database in August alongside the Galaxy A08. The smartphone is offered in black, green and light purple.
The Galaxy A07s is powered by an 8-core MediaTek G99+ processor manufactured using a 6 nm process. Depending on the version, the device comes with up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded with a microSD card. The smartphone's 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display has a 90 Hz refresh rate. This helps images appear smoother when scrolling through pages. The rear houses a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP depth sensor that helps separate the background from the subject in portrait shots. On the front, there is an 8 MP selfie camera. The Galaxy A07s is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery. Its IP54 protection rating provides some protection against dust and splashing water. The fingerprint scanner is located on the side of the body. The smartphone runs the Android 16-based OneUI operating system. Samsung will provide operating system and security updates for this model for 6 years. The device has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, 2-band Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.3 and a USB-C port. However, it does not support NFC for contactless payments or a hardware gyroscope that precisely measures the phone's movement.
