Samsung Releases One UI 9 Beta 2 Update for Galaxy S24
Samsung has begun rolling out the One UI 9 Beta 2 test update for the Galaxy S24 series. The package was released less than 2 weeks after the first beta version. The update brings some features found on the Galaxy S26 flagships and Galaxy Z8 foldable models to the older series. Users enrolled in the beta program can install it. The software code ends in “ZZI4.”
The main new feature is the ability to create custom cards in the Now Brief section. The user tells the artificial intelligence system what information they want to see on the card, and the system prepares it according to their preferences. The update also enables the Call Brief feature, which displays brief information about calls. Galaxy S24 owners enrolled in the beta program can now install the update. The new features also include My FanCam. Previously added to Galaxy Z8 models, the feature tracks the movement of a selected person among several people in the frame and zooms in on them. However, beta versions may contain bugs. Therefore, it is better to wait for the stable version on your primary phone. Samsung has also launched certified refurbished models of the Galaxy S26 series. Devices in the Re-Newed program are serviced directly by the company. Worn parts and batteries are replaced with new ones. These smartphones are approximately $200 (340 manats) cheaper than brand-new devices and are sold only on Samsung.com. The refurbished Galaxy S26 has a starting price of $759 (approximately 1,290 manats), while the Galaxy S26+ is priced at $929 (approximately 1,580 manats). The Galaxy S26 Ultra sells for $1,099 (approximately 1,870 manats). A brand-new Galaxy S26 costs $899 (approximately 1,530 manats). The new Galaxy S26+ sells for $1,099, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra sells for $1,299 (approximately 2,210 manats). The refurbished devices are sold in all color options, but the Galaxy S26+ cannot yet be ordered. Prices for the Galaxy S23 series in the program start at $439 (approximately 750 manats). The same starting price also applies to the Galaxy S25 series. Prices for foldable models start at $649 (approximately 1,100 manats). Meanwhile, Samsung is expected to raise the prices of the new Galaxy S26 models in October.
