Versatile iQOO Headphones gaming headset unveiled for PCs, consoles and smartphones

For the first time, the iQOO brand’s lineup has expanded with a full-size gaming headset bearing the concise name iQOO Headphones. The new product is highly versatile and can work with computers, smartphones and popular consoles thanks to three types of connections.

Users can choose a conventional wired USB Type-C connection, energy-efficient Bluetooth 5.4 or a high-speed 2.4 GHz radio connection with minimal latency. Two adapters, Type-A and Type-C, are included for wireless radio connectivity. The model works well with Steam Deck, both generations of Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles, but Xbox consoles are not supported.

High-quality sound is provided by 40 mm drivers with composite diaphragms. Owners of iQOO Headphones can fine-tune the audio to their preferences with a 10-band equalizer and save up to 3 personal profiles in memory. THX spatial audio is available on computers through the proprietary iQOO Monster software, while the iQOO Spatial Audio algorithm handles immersive sound on mobile platforms. A special Monster Sound configuration with dedicated audio profiles for different game genres is also provided. In first-person shooters, for example, the system emphasizes the precise positioning of opponents’ footsteps and gunshots.

The headset features an adaptive active noise cancellation system (ANC) capable of blocking external noise at levels of up to 58 dB, as well as the familiar transparency mode. A detachable directional microphone with a smart digital filter ensures clear speech during online sessions.

Comfort during hours of gaming is achieved through the headset’s low weight of 251 g, adjustable fit and ear cushions made of breathable fabric. The device’s battery life is also impressive: the built-in battery lasts for 150 hours of listening to music or up to 139 hours of gaming without ANC. The device will run for up to 100 hours in radio connection mode, while activating all features, including noise cancellation and synchronized lighting, results in a battery life of 53 to 68 hours. Other notable features include AI integration that can read out the status of flights or parcels and translate speech through Vivo Translate.

The price of iQOO Headphones in China was $104.
