vivo S2 FE to be unveiled on October 6 as design emerges

    A promotional page launched by Indian online retailer Flipkart has confirmed that the vivo S2 FE smartphone will be unveiled on October 6. The model will be shown alongside the vivo V80 on the same day. vivo has not yet made an official announcement about the S2 FE. The retailer’s page is therefore the first concrete information about the device’s unveiling date.    The image shared by Flipkart also shows the design of the vivo S2 FE. The phone has a green back panel and 2 cameras in a separate module. According to the page, the device runs the OriginOS operating system, although its version has not been disclosed. The model is expected to have OriginOS 6. This is because the vivo V80 will be the first vivo smartphone outside China to run OriginOS 7.    According to reports, the vivo S2 FE will have a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. The screen’s 120 Hz refresh rate will make motion in menus and games appear smoother. The phone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e processor. The fingerprint scanner will also be located under the display.    The main camera is reportedly expected to be 50 MP, while the front camera will be 32 MP. The phone is also expected to have a large 10,000 mAh battery. There is no information yet about its charging power. The vivo S2 FE is said to cost less than 40,000 Indian rupees. The exact retail price may be announced during the unveiling.    The manufacturer has already confirmed some specifications of the vivo V80. The model will have a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display. Its 144 Hz refresh rate will make motion on the screen appear smoother. The smartphone has 4 cameras tuned in partnership with ZEISS and a 7,200 mAh battery. The phone will also support 90 W fast charging.
