Xiaomi 18 Pro Max Heads Outside China, Appears in Global Benchmark

    The global version of the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has appeared in the Geekbench AI benchmark database. The test device, with model number 2611FPNFAG, runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor. The prototype that was tested is equipped with 12 GB of RAM. This has revealed the global model’s processor and one of its memory options ahead of its launch.    Xiaomi has already confirmed that the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will launch internationally. Last year’s models were not officially released outside China. If the information about the cancellation of the Xiaomi 18 Ultra is accurate, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will be the company’s main flagship heading into 2027. The Chinese version is also sold with a 16 GB RAM option. However, it is not known whether that variant will be released globally.    The Xiaomi 18 Pro sold in China has a large 7,000 mAh battery. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has an even larger 8,500 mAh battery. It has not yet been confirmed whether these capacities will remain unchanged in the European versions. Both global models are expected to launch with Android 17 and the HyperOS 4 interface running on top of it.    The main display of the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max sold in China is a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED panel. The screen has a resolution of 1,208 x 2,624 pixels. The 120 Hz refresh rate helps visuals and transitions appear smoother. Peak brightness reaches 4,000 nits.    There is also a 2.9-inch secondary LTPO AMOLED display on the back of the phone. It has a resolution of 596 x 976 pixels. The secondary display also operates at a 120 Hz refresh rate and reaches a peak brightness of 4,000 nits.    The smartphone is sold in China with 256 GB and 512 GB of storage. A 1 TB variant is also available for those who want more space. On the back is a 200 MP main camera with OIS, a system that reduces shake while shooting. A second 200 MP periscope camera also uses the same stabilization system and zooms in 3.2x without any loss of image quality. The camera system also includes a 50 MP ultrawide camera. The front camera is also 50 MP. It has not yet been confirmed whether these specifications will remain unchanged in the global model.
